The skies were looming over this old McAlester filling station, built for Conoco back in the dusty days of a 1930's Oklahoma. In the 1950's locals knew this station as Ken Sellers' Magnolia Tire and Battery Service and later the Dodd Boys worked within it's walls, fixing cars and swapping stories. Their name still clings to the worn bricks carrying on through time. Today, dressed in bright Texaco red, the little station hums with life again as a roadside barbershop attraction, offering a welcome pause in our fast paced lives.
